The St. Vincent de Paul Society is an organization of Catholic laypersons who serve those in need, regardless of race, religion, or origin. Its ministry is supported through donations, trusts, wills, etc., and it strives, with prayer and Scripture, to serve with respect to those in need of our help.
Effective October 1, 2023, Sts. Peter and Paul SVDP and the Holy Angels SVDP have blended into a new organization, known as the “Sandusky St. Vincent de Paul Conference.” As a result of this change, we will need additional members to effectively continue to provide our service to the Sandusky community. The assistance we typically provide is food gift cards, utility assistance, and occasionally other assistance as required. Between the two organizations, we currently provide assistance to 15-30 families per month.
Membership includes:
One team meeting on the first Thursday of the month
Serving the community on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday mornings at Holy Angels and the 2nd & 4th Thursday evenings at Sts. Peter and Paul.
In this ministry, you will be serving God, growing spiritually, helping those in need, and working alongside a dedicated group of Vincentians! If you are interested, please call the Pastoral Office and leave your name and number, and a team member will get back to you shortly
